Cat Prices: $75.00
Includes: basic kennel vaccinations (feline distemper), de-worming, de-fleaing, ear checks, spaying and/or neutering, and a free rabies vaccination certificate honored at our local Animal Care Clinic. We do not have the equipment or technicians to take x-rays, conduct feline leukemia testing or blood tests of any type. These tests must be done at your Veterinarian offices.

Dark colored, black or black and white cats are discounted ($50.00 each) -- if they have been at our facility over 60 days.

If you purchase (2) two cats or kittens together, their price is discounted.
We will HOLD an animal for 24 hours, but do not put names on animals to hold indefinitely.

Dogs Prices: $110.00 & up
Includes: basic kennel vaccinations (canine distemper/bordatello), de-worming, de-fleaing, ear checks, spaying and/or neutering, and a free rabies vaccination certificate honored at our local Animal Care Clinic. We do not have the equipment or technicians to take x-rays, conduct lymes testing or blood tests of any type. These tests must be done at your Veterinarian offices.

Dark colored, black or black and white dogs are discounted to ($80.00 each) -- if they have been at our facility over 60 days.

If you purchase (2) two dogs or puppies together, their price is discounted.
We will HOLD an animal for 24 hours, but do not put names on animals to hold indefinitely.

Seven (7) Day Trial Period:
We do have a seven (7) day trial period. With this trial period, we do require a check or credit card "payment in full" to cover the cost of your animal on trial. We will hold your check payment through your 7th day. On the 7th day, if you choose not to keep the pet you have chosen, you must return it to our facility for a full refund. If you keep the pet, you must finalize the pet adoption paperwork on the 7th day. Money will not be refunded after the 7 day trial period is over. Once your adoption is final, you assume full liability and responsibility for your adopted pet.

Medical Treatment:
If during your 7 day trial period your pet becomes sick and/or requires medical treatment, you must contact Beltrami Humane Society for authorization prior to taking your animal to a Vet Clinic. Beltrami Humane Society will not pay for the treatment if you do not have PRIOR Authorization.

Special Facility Discounts:
Occasionally, you will find animals posted as a "feature or special animal of the month". At that time, you may be able to adopt that animal or animals at a special rate. If you see a sign posted, check with the desk for more information.

Surrendering Animals:
If you can no longer keep your cat or dog and wish to surrender it to Beltrami Humane Society, the fee is $50.00 per animal.

We will accept animals depending on space availability. You may also choose to bring items associated with your pet such as their pet bed, dishes, favorite toys, food etc.

We do not accept dogs that are overly aggressive, show signs of kennel rage or bite. We do not accept feral or semi-feral cats or kittens that cannot be handled.

Reclaiming Animals:
If you find that your cat or dog has been placed at Beltrami Humane Society due to being picked up by Animal Control (or for any other reason), you may reclaim your animal at a cost of $50.00 plus $10.00 a day each day they are at our shelter. You can re-adopt your pet, if our adoption costs are less than the stay (whichever is cheaper). Proper I.D. is required to reclaim your pet.
