Pets of the Week

Sierra
"Sierra"

"Sierra" is a gorgeous light tan to golden lab/husky cross.  She came to us from our local Animal Control.  She is approximately 4 ½ mos old, is playful, outgoing and gets along well with other dogs and kids. She is young enough that she could easily adopt to cats also. She is very unique looking as she has one brown eye and one blue eye. She does need to be spayed prior to leaving the shelter, but is up to date on her basic vaccinations.

Sacagawea
"Sacagawea"
Odette
"Odette"

"Sacagawea" is a domestic short hair tabby/calico girl that is almost a year old. She is a lot of fun, playful and can be a very sweet girl. She does get along well with other cats, kids and is okay with dogs.  She has been at the shelter most of her young life and is ready for a forever home. Her roommate – Odette is a domestic short hair tortie. She also is a little over l yr old. She has been at the shelter since she was a kitten and waits patiently for her new home. She is playful and loves Sacagawea! They are best friends. Both are spayed, vaccinated and ready to go. They want you to know that they could be a great addition to your home as mousers, companions or playmates.

Second Spay & Neuter Clinic Wed. & Thurs.

Beltrami Humane Society is conducting its second two-day Spay and Neuter Clinic this Wednesday and Thursday, August 25th and 26th. All spays, neuters & vaccinations will be performed by Northland Spay & Neuter Clinic out of Duluth and sponsored by Animal Allies Humane Society.

This is a “low cost” clinic and all services will need to be paid for prior to your animal being admitted. If you filled out an application at the shelter, we will be calling you to verify that you have been accepted for this second clinic. If you have further questions, feel free to call us at the shelter.
